Boronia Cricket Club boasts a well-equipped training precinct at Tormore Reserve, designed to support the development of cricketers at all levels. The facility includes modern synthetic and turf training nets, maintained to a high standard to simulate match-day conditions. These nets accommodate both pace and spin bowlers, with ample run-up space and secure fencing for safety.
These facilities underline Boronia’s commitment to nurturing talent, promoting high standards of practice, and building a strong, competitive cricket culture.
Home Ground
The club proudly calls Tormore Reserve home - a premier turf ground consistently recognised as the "Best Turf Ground" in the ECA. It features a meticulously maintained turf wicket square, offering players a high-quality playing surface that meets competitive standards. The ground’s design ensures optimal drainage and pitch conditions, facilitating consistent play throughout the cricket season. Surrounding the main oval, the reserve provides ample space for spectators, enhancing the match-day experience for fans and families alike.
Chandler Park serves as the secondary ground for the Boronia Cricket Club, primarily hosting the club’s juniors teams and senior synthetic side. The synthetic pitch at Chandler Park has recently undergone a significant upgrade, now offering a high-quality playing surface that rivals the best in the competition. This redevelopment has elevated the ground’s status, making it a preferred venue for both players and spectators.
